Travel Agent for Booking Trip

Hubby and I are planning a trip for May 09 to celebrate 10 years. I've heard from internet sources that I should use a Grecian travel agency rather than a USA agency. I've tried to book myself, but am totally confused by the times, date lines, days in flight, etc. I don't think I can do this by myself. Any ideas on who to contact?

Yes. Contact Fantasy Travel and Dolphin-Hellas Travel, both in Athens and both very experienced with helping visitors to Greece.

Hi M,

> I don't think I can do this by myself.

Of course you can.

Airfares are at www.kayak.com, www.1800flyeurope.com and www.mobissimo.com

Hotels are at www.venere.com - check them out at www.tripadvisor.com.

Guide books are under "Destinations" here and at your local library.

Put together a draft plan, and we will help you improve it.

Ira and Brotherleelove2004,

Thank you for all your suggestions. Incidentally, I've registered my info with Dolphin-Hellas Travel to see what they come up with and at the same time, I am going to try and put something together with the resources that Ira recommended and see how that ends up. Ira, would you still be willing to provide counsel?

Thanks to both of you this dream might actually COME TRUE!!!

I agree with Ira, of course you can plan it. We have always planned our own trips. It makes you more invested (not just financially) in the trip. Have fun.
