Hello,

I am looking for advice on a trip I am planning. I have from August 23-Sept 7 and am hoping to visit both the Amalfi Coast and Croatia but wondering if it is too much for a short time?

The problem is that I must fly into Budapest and out of either Venice or Rome so I would essentially lose a night on either end.

Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.

How much of Croatia did you plan on seeing? The country is half again as big as Switzerland but without the great transportation system. How did you plan to explore, by car?

I would investigate what it will take in time, cost and logistics to travel between the destinations on your list. Budapest to Zagreb or Dubrovnik? Wherever in Croatia to the Amalfi Coast? Amalfi Coast to Venice? I think you'll find you're going to lose a lot more than just a night on either end.

With your travel restrictions, it is too much to try and see both in your limited time frame. Pick one and really enjoy it.
