Transportation in Bruxelles
No commercial flight before saturday at Zaventem (national airport) - repairs needed.
Metro (subway) to stay closed for 3 weeks (repairs)
At Bruxelles Midi train station, you are be checked before entering the station - no queue at 7 30 pm but don't know at rush hour.
HUGE military presence and cops swarming all over the place : normal cops (blue uniform), SNCB auxilaries (in red uniforms). Military had helmets on - poor guys.
No access to/from parking : you must cross the street and enter the parking from there - doors only open if you kept your ticket (which I hadn't since I left before the attacks...).
At Paris Gare du Nord business as usual - I went much faster than usual but was still checked. They reintroduced cops on the Thalys.
