Transiting to connecting flight from 2A to 2C @ CDG

I am flying to CDG from Dallas with GF6584 (operated by AA) and transiting to 2C to catch my flight GF18 to BAH but I am not sure if an hour and 40 min be enough to reach to my gate as I see so many complains about CDG. Also, do I must go through immigration (with US passport) or can I transit internally as I don't have to pick up my luggage until I reach to Ktm? I checked the airport transiting process and it indicates to follow the "Flight Connection" sign and to take the airport shuttle to reach the 2C but never say anything about going through passport control. Thanks for sharing your experience.

No passport control if you take the airside shuttle but you'll go through security at 2C.

2A and 2C are in the same building right next to each other. There will just be one security check as you move over to the next terminal.

Thanks Patty and Kerouac! Is there way that I can walk there instead of taking airside shuttle?

The only walking route I know is landside and involves clearing passport control.

Whether you can make your connection depends on so many factors - how long it takes you to de-plane, how many other flights are landing at the same time, how long that single security checkpoint line is...but no, you will probably not make your connection. CDG is probably the world's worst airport for this among many other reasons.

So just resign yourself to it. Somehow you will get to BAH. The good news is that no airport has more experience dealing with people who have missed their connecting flights.

And if by chance you do make it, consider yourself a very lucky person.
