Yes they do pay to access TIMATIC and other databases, all I am saying is that airlines do not contact you and tell you what things you need to enter a country, they will send generic info reminding you to check and maybe offer up some URLs where you can check, but it is not tailored to your specific requirements. The responsibility lies in the passenger to get the correct visa/COVID/health docs etc before travel and the responsibility of the airline at the airport when checking in to ensure you have it all otherwise be denied boarding.& they might use TIMATIC for that. As the OP has stated, the airline has offered nothing more than an opinion about what is needed.

That is a very flakey response from the airline. They are not going to give you more than an opinion. However I do not think you will have a problem as you do not need anything to transit CDG as long as you have everything you need for your final destination. Did you check the Traveldocs website for your requirements, it is what AF/KLM suggest you use. I assume you are travelling on AF?

If however worse case scenario and you do need to change your flights, how often is there a CDG-SDQ flight, what if the next one is full and how would a delay like that affect the validity of your PCR test for your destination? How would get additional documents, whatever they may be? And what would the cost be of changing your flight or are you assuming it would be FOC? Would you be stuck airside at CDG if you had to change your flight or would you enter France and stay overnight at a hotel? If so, that changes things.

There are still restrictions, and not all countries have the same policies. If you are doing a road trip involving several countries, you have some administration to do before you can leave. Not everyone has had a change to be fully vaccinated, particularly younger people. Germany banned travellers from Portugal, except for German nationals who were allowed to travel but had to quarantaine on entering Germany. I was at Brussels airport 2 weeks ago, and several people were refused at check-in because they didn't have the right forms, or test results that were not accepted.

The point I was making is that traveling within Schengen is not the same as domestic travel.
