Transfer time from in CDG from plane to TGV station
We will be flying into CDG from Budapest on EasyJet in early October and have a couple of questions -
Does Easyjet use a jetway or bus at CDG to offload passengers into the terminal?
How much time should we allow between posted arrival time to departure time of a TGV to Avignon? We will have checked bags to pick up at baggage claim before heading down to the TGV station.
We are planning to buy our Prem tickets on the TGV later this evening and want to make sure we have allowed enough time.
Thank you

I don't think it matters whether or not it uses a jetway.
Allocate time to collect your bags and get to the shuttle bus.
Termnal 2B is where Esay J arrives.
This is the shuttle bus.

Please understand that the time of arrival is when the plane sets down on the runway. Taxi time to the terminal could be a good deal longer -- or to wherever it stops for the shuttle bus to the terminal. For safety, add at least 30 minutes to the stated time of arrival. Then factor in whatever baggage retrieval and security checks etc. are required before you transfer to the SNCF station. You can buy an SNCF ticket which allows changes but remember that you may have to face a lineup to make any such change.

Air carrier schedules are inclusive of estimated taxi times and en route times. If you have a 13h00 departure, the planes leaves the gate at 13h00. 13h00 is not the estimated airborne time.
Similarly, if the scheduled arrival is 14h00, this means that the aircraft's estimated touchdown time plus an estimated taxi time will place the aircraft at the gate at 14h00.
For connecting TGV departures, I would allow 20 minutes to deplane the aircraft, 20 minutes to pass immigration, and 20 minutes to collect luggage. I would further allow 2 additional hours for unknown delays to including time to reach the TGV departure platform. Overall, I would never schedule a TGV departure earlier than 3 hours after scheduled aircraft arrival and 4 hours if you need to travel to one of the train stations in Paris.

Sar tells us,

I didn't know that.
In all my years of travel, the plane has "arrived" when it hits the runway.
I have arrived sometime in the next hour.
I go with Southam.
In addition, your plane could be late.
I suggest that you add 1/2 hr for delayed plane, 1/2 hr to get to terminal, 1/2 hr to get through Immigration, 1 hr to get luggage, 1/2 hr to get to TGV.
Enjoy your visit.
