trains from Brussels
Would anyone know if there is a train to Lyon, or Avignon from Bruxelles that doesn't require changing trains in Paris?
I recently found a train in Florence that stopped in Milan, but went on to Como (my destination).
I booked when in Florence.
Every site I found online showed schedules which required changing trains in Milan.
thanks

There are TGV trains that go from Avignon (actually the trains originate in Nice) to Brussels and vice versa. Depending on the train, they make various stops - none of them Paris, btw., but you do not change trains at all.
I often take the TGV from Avignon to Brussels in the winter - much faster than driving. I think it takes about 5.5 to 6 hours depending on the number of stops.

Sorry for my earlier erroneous post.
There's a 10:28a TGV that goes to Avignon.
There's a 11:28a that goes to Lyon.
There are 12:20p and 3:20p TGV that goes through Lyon, then Avignon.
Etc...
These trains stops at the CDG station, then go around Paris to the east. They don't go into Paris.

I want to thank you for the great info.
Another question please.
We are thinking of going to Dijon, as well.
We are definitely going to Lyon, but would rather go to Dijon first.
Is there a train to Dijon from Brussels that doesn't require changing trains?
