As long as you dont't go to the Interlaken - Jungfrau area and as long as you don't use any cog railway (except Brunig or Zermatt - Glacierexpress), rope railway, gondola or postbus (over alpine passes), the eurailpass can be a good solution for travels through and within Switzerland.

Yes Eurailpass perks are limited to the mainlines well away fromthe high Alps where Eurails don't pass or give 25% off. In retrospect OP would have been much better of with a Half-Fare card probably and a discounted Paris to Switzerland ticket - hundreds of dollars cheaper. smacks of something some clueless travel agent may recommend (as well as pocket the up to 20& commission they may get.)

" but eurail pass are valid on glacier express and bernina express"
Yes, that's what I said above.
In the mountain area, Eurailpass is valid for Geneva - Montreux - Golden Pass - Spiez - Loetschberger - Brig - Glacier Express/Bernina Express - Tirano as well as for sidetrips to Lucerne, Zermatt, Centovalli - Locarno, Lugano, Arosa, Davos or Scuol-Tarasp.
But it's NOT valid on railways, gondolas etc which go to mountain peaks.

Look into refunding the Eurail and buying Swiss Passes and doing a cheap Paris to Switzerland ticket from 39 euros or so - www.oui.sncf. Actually swapping passes may not involve heavy refunds - not sure.
