Train Travel in Spain

Hello...we will be taking advantage of the train for much of our trip to Spain next month. Is there anywhere anyone can suggest where we can lock up our luggage while we sight-see in the town? In some cases we will take the train to one town in the morning and then move on to another in late afternoon. We expect to each have 2 small carry-on sized bags.

Thanks!!

In most stations there is some place to lock luggage for a small fee. If you tell me which cities you plan to do that I can check it for you on renfe website.

There were lockers at the Seville station when we were there in 2003. There are located on a lower level. Your bags are x-rayed.

You have lockers in all your stations.
But in most of them they have opening times :
Toledo Monday to Friday 5'45 AM to 21'20 PM
Weekend and holidays 6'30 AM to 22 PM
Madrid (it has two stations, I don't know which one you need ) :
Madrid Chamartin 7 AM-23
Madrid Atocha 6'30 AM- 22'30

Granada 6'30 AM to 23'10 PM
Sevilla 6'00 to 00'25
Cordoba is open 24 hours.

As Gavin said, the bags are X-rayed

Hope it helps !!
