if we take the eui from rome termini to napoli centrale. what are our options for travel to sorrento?<BR><BR>we have taken the circumvesuviana,but with 20 hours of travel behind us, we would like an easier option.<BR><BR>we could posibly take either a private car/taxi to sorrento, but how do we secure one? or!<BR><BR>how do we safely get from napoli centrale to the marina for a hydrofoil ride to sorrento?<BR><BR>would the tramontano hotel offer a shuttle service?<BR><BR>any input would be appreciated.<BR><BR>thanks,<BR><BR>arlo<BR><BR>

You could safely get from Napoli Centrale to the hydrofoil dock by taxi. The hydrofoil is much more relaxing (and faster) than the Circumvesuviana, it is more expensive too. I think the fare was about 9 Euros each. We took the Circumvesuviana from Napoli the day we arrived (after flying from the US and then taking the train from Rome), it was hot and crowded for the first 30 minutes. You also have to watch out for pickpockets on the Circ. We took the hydrofoil back to Sorrento after daytripping to Napoli and the hydrofoil was much more pleasant!
