Train to central Paris from CDG - looking for old post

Quite a while ago there was an excellent post with a link to photos on how exactly to take the train from CDG to central paris. I've searched but can not find it. It may have been posted by Degas, but I am not sure. Does anyone know where it is... or can anyone walk me through the process. I usually take a taxi, but given that my flight is next week and the riot issues, that may not be a viable option. Thanks in advance.

The strikes have resulted in some changes. For examples last week you had to change RER B trains at Gare du Nord to get to CDG. There were no through trains. Check this for current info:

We arrived in Paris on Oct 14 early morning and took the RER B into Paris. Because of the strike, RER B went only as far as Gare du Nord from where we took a taxi to our hotel (transferring to the Metro was an option we did not choose). The RER B at that time, and still as of today, is only running 1 in 2 trains and the train from the airport was EXTREMELY crowded with some unhappy commuters who did not appreciate the extra space taken by the luggage. As the RER B stopped at stations on the way to Paris, perhaps 2 people got off our car and there were at least 50 people trying to get on each car that was already jam packed. When we left Paris on Oct 20 7 AM we decided to take a taxi to the airport (70 Euro) in order to avoid the crowded trains with luggage.

Also BTW, we found that our US Mastercard with PayPass feature did work in the Metro ticket machines.
