Train reservations

Rail Europe is not giving me the option for printing tickets at home or picking up at the station. I plan to travel from Rome to FLorence on Aug. 23 and Florence to Venice August 27. Will there be problems purchasing these tickets once in Rome?

Buy your tickets in Italy when you arrive as it will be much less expensive than buying from Rail Europe. Trains from Rome to Florence only take 1.5 hours and there are plenty of them. Plenty of trains to Venice also. Here's a site to see the departure/arrival times.

Good to know no need to pre-book from U.S. Thanks!

Do NOT buy these tickets from Rail Europe! Just buy them on the ground once there.

There are rows of ticket machines in Termini which are touchscreen and you can select English. Just pay attention to whether they are cash only or ones that you can use credit cards (they are signed).
