Train Layover in Vienna
We intend to go by train from Bucharest to Venice, via Vienna. It looks like we will have a 10-hour layover in Vienna. Are there luggage lockers or a luggage check in or near the Vienna train station?
Thanks!

Hi,
Yes there are lockers available.
When I caught a rain from Gyor in Hungary to Vienna in April 2003 there were luggage lockers at the arriving station.
Depending on size they cost 2 Euro to 5 Euro with coins required and there was an attendant overseeing the locker area.
Unfortunately cant remember wether it was Sudbanhof or Westbanhof ( I think the latter).
Hope this helps.

Unless you have purposely planned the trip this way, I cannot, looking at the current timetables, undertand WHY you have a ten-hour layover in Vienna????
Yes, you can store luggage at all the main stations in Vienna but I'm a bit mystified about why you would have to do so.
