Does anyone know whether the trains depart from Sudbahnhof? Please advice. TQ

I know Fodor's says that you "generally" use Sudbahnhof for travel to Hungary but we left from Westbahnhof for Budapest in September. Wien Nord is listed by Fodor's for Prague. Best of luck.

There are at least two trains a day from Sudbahnhof to Germany via Prague. Just over 5 hours to Prague.

... may want to check the Austrian train web site (www.oebb.at) ... unfortunately the schedule is only in German but fairly straight forward ... I used it to locate the options for Budapest/Vienna, which trip I booked last weekend (but since I don't 'read' German I did the booking else where) ...

I've found the www.bahn.de website to be useful for train travel in Europe. To get the site in English, use this link http://www.bahn.de/pv/uebersicht/die_bahn_international_guests.shtml
