Train from Florence to Monte Carlo

We are a group of 4 wanting to travel from Florence to Monte Carlo by train on 5th of Oct this year. Having problems trying to work out the train route, which is the best way of doing this? Can we do this 1st class ?

Yep have done it via Lucca La Spezia Genoa San Remo Monaco

trenitalia.com Intercity trains first class cheapest

fast trans best.

All Italian trains dump you at the border and you hop

a short cheap french train for a few minutes on to Monaco.

Ventimiglia(Ventimille in french) is your border town.

More expensive fast trains go up to Milan then over

sort of out of the way prefer to head down the coast

via Genoa.

seat61.com best site for training info.

Happy Planning!
