Does anyone have any information on how to get from Barcelona to Perpignan (in France) by train. I think it's possible but I'm unable to track down any information on the web. Thanks!

You should be able to get this info from any of these three sources: www.raileurope.com or www.sncf.com or www.renfe.es but for some reason I cannot get an answer for you right now from SNCF. I did not try RENFE.<BR><BR>On RailEurope, there are two departures on the Talgo shown:<BR><BR>8:45 arr 11:43 and<BR>16:37 arr 19:35<BR><BR>I won'r repeat the fares they cite there, as they are almost surely overpriced by 20-30%. I would guess that the 2nd class fare is about 30 euro; 1st class about 10 higher.<BR><BR>I would not recommend that you buy this ticket before you get to Europe. For some reason, when you search for information on trains between Spain and France, you don't find all the possible options by searching for the origin and destination city. You may have to check for connections at the border - station is Port Bou on the French side and Cerbere on the Spanish side. Oddly, when you buy the ticket on-site, you'll have no trouble.

The reference library of a city near you may have the Thomas Cook European Timetable.
