I took this trip late last year, it is very easy. Change in Antwerp. The train from Antwerp to Brugge is much slower than the Amsterdam-Antwerp train. I bought tickets for the trip at the train station in Schipol airport after landing in Amsterdam, no lines, very easy, helpful attendant. FYI, check the outside of the cars carefully for class number (a big "1" or "2") and smoking/non smoking symbols. Traveling without luggage, we learned to just hop on the train, then walk to the correct car so that you're not out on the platform when it leaves. Well, this time we had a lot of lugggage and hopped on a 1st class car on the first train, then had to walk our luggage through a few cars to get to the 2nd class area--really a pain with luggage. And then when we switched in Antwerp, we paid attention to the class numbers, but not the smoking/non-smoking symbols and ended up getting on the train in a smoking car. It was really bad--we didn't move because it was too much of a pain to carry luggage through the cars, and the car was very smoky--every single person there was smoking. So, if you have luggage, take the extra few seconds to walk down the platform to find the car you want.
