Towels in Hotels

Thank you for the responses. I thought the towel thing was just a cost cutting measure and I am glad to know I was right. At $150/night I thought this was a scam. I will make sure that our next accommodation changes towels daily.

Gross!!! So, the French have no right to be uppity, if they are recycling table napkins!!! Thanks for the heads up. I will just continue to travel to countries where I get a single, clean, albeit paper, napkin...

Amp322, I've only experienced the same napkin thing when staying in a French household; I don't think it happens in many hotels.
