tours in Rome

Hello there!!!

Me and my Husband both will be travelling to rome on december 25th .....
I have seen many tours from viator and other websites online, does it makes sense to buy these tours to vatican and rome in a day online or should we wait to get to rome and buy these tours there.
Please let me know... any help would be appreciated!

Anna

Hi Anna,

My intuition tells me that since you will be visiting during the holiday season, it would be a good idea to book tours ahead. The tour companies may be limited in the number of their guides who will be available that week. Just a guess.

I took 2 tours with Context Rome and was extremely pleased with both.

Buon viaggio!

When my husband and I went to Rome five years ago, we had a wonderful tour guide named Giulia. We are going back to Rome in April 2007 and we plan on hooking up with her again. Her knowledge really made Rome come alive for us.

Below is a little info about her that she recently sent me.

Greetings! It certainly has been a long time. How are you and Mark doing? I hope all is well. I am writing to announce with pride that on May 12th I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Master's degree in Art History. I sincerely hope to be able to put my newly acquired knowledge to use for you once again. Please feel free to get in touch if you or any other family members or friends should be heading to Rome in the future. To that end, please be sure to note and pass on the changed e-mail address. I will be using this address([email protected]) from now on. I hope to see you again in the Eternal City!

A fond "ciao,"
Giulia Bernardini

Hi Anna and Dayle,
I'll be there at Christmas too! Dayle - do you remember Giula's fee? And does she charge per person or per hour?

Thanks!
