Tourism in the North of Spain
The North of Spain will find the most beautiful mountains, the best beaches and a soft and temperate climate the whole year.
Wonderful fields of Golf, and a wonderful gastronomy with the best products in the sea
They can see it in: http: / / www. cantabriarural. com

"best products in the sea," indeed!
Don't forget the Fabada Asturiana or the Cocido de Liebana. There's more than just seafood there: Orujo de Liebana and cheeses and morcillas ...
In Bilbao I love to browse in el Mercado, a 3-story building on the banks of the rio Nervion where you can find all kinds of locally-made Chorizos and Morcillas. The Basque cuisine is unique and very, very good.
In Santander, there's the Barrio Pesquero where one can get an excellent seafood dinner (mid-day) where the Truckers eat at an economical price ...
Spain's first public golf course is also just west of UIMP, out past Sardinero.
Just west of there (south from Unquera) is the rio Deva separating Cantabria from Asturias and straddling the Picos de Europa.

I was also there this past summer and just loved it! My son might be going to Santander this summer for a language immersion course. Of course, I'm planning to visit him!
Harzer, you're right on! Let's keep it to ourselves!
