TourdeFrance

TourdeFrance in Paris - we will be in Paris for the final "leg" - we want to see the final two days. Can anyone give us advice? - where and will it be possible to catch a glimpse, etc. My husband can't wait to see it live!

Helloooooo? It ends at the Champs Élysées and that's the obvious place to watch.

Kaye, you may find the Champs too crowded. Just pick up a Sunday paper on the morning of the finale--they'll all have the route. One thing we didn't know is that the cyclists pass by several times, not just once, so don't leave your spot if you want to see them again. Before the race, we walked out to the Eiffel Tower, which is the staging venue, and enjoyed watching all the activities there. We've been lucky enough to be in Paris twice for the festivities. All of Paris will be celebrating!

Thank you, Betsy for your kind advice - we'll get the paper and chick it our. I'm amazed at the rudeness of "Uh Duh!" and grateful for helpful peple like yurself.
