First time in Rome? I strongly recommend to get an official and knowledgeable tour guide, not the guys standing just outside the colosseum or the vatican museums pretending to be guides. This is an expensive trip for you and your party and would be advisable to get the most of out of it considering that Guide fee would be just a pittance compared to what you're spending to come to Italy. Few months back I suggested to my overseas friends to contact Nancy at http://www.nancyaiellotours.com/ and they told me the tours were comprehensive, fun and well worth the money!
