There are quite a few hotels in Krakow, of all varieties and price ranges. What type are you looking for, and what do you want to spend?

We used Marta Chmielowska at [email protected]
She was excellent guide for just the two of us. Will do half or full days. She hired a car and took us for private tour to Auschwicz (can't spell it!). Very informative about history and how regular people live in the city.

Another vote for Marta Chmielowska. My husband and I hired her for a tour of Krakow and had a wonderful experience. She was was very engaging and knowledgeable and she lived in the US for a few years which provided an interesting prospective. We would highly recommend her.

My wife and I used Marta Chmielowska as our guide in Krakow in August 2007. She was wonderful and a virtual encyclopedia of Polish history. She also took us to Auschwitz. We highly recommend her as a guide.
