Torun, Warsaw, other suggestions

Hi, I am visiting Amsterdam and Oslo and then going on to Bergen. Then, I want to fly to Poland to visit the town/area my grandparents are from This is a teeny town a bit south of Torun. I would have 3-4 days possibly. What is best to fly into: Warsaw? Poznan? I had hoped to see Krakow too but that seems like a lot more travel in this time frame--am I right to leave it to another time or is there an easy/quick way from Torun to Krakow? Would like suggestions of things to see around Torun. Thanks PS Could anyone recommend a tour guide/translator as I'd like to poke around in city halls, etc for records of my family

Hi Libby; One thing you could do for finding family, is to post on this forums web site. I had posted and received great information on potential living desendants. http://genforum.genealogy.com/ iris1745/dick

What's the name of the little city? Flying to Warsaw be a better option to connect with Krakow and Torun - both be about 3hrs by train with many connections so could be even a day trips. BTW Torun is also famous for it's universities - so you should have no problem finding people who could assist with english translations...
