In no particular order:
1. Venice, Italy - Sitting in a cafe in San Marco, listing to the dueling orchestras observing the area after the day tourists have left.
2. Berner Oberland, Switzerland - The Jungfrau
3. Paris - A picnic in the Champs de Mars in front of the Eifel tower
4. Prague - A stroll along the river at night with the castle lit in the distance.
5. WWII sites - Dachau, Normandy Beaches and Oradour sur Glane
6. Vienna - Shoenbrun Palace with its history more impressive than Versailles
7. Mont St Michel - Anytime
8. Munich - Hofbrauhaus - Very touristy but with so many nationalities drinking beer and singing US songs a real different experience.
9. Riviera - Dinner at the Cafe du Paris and people watching in Monaco and the beauty of the beaches from there to Nice.
10. Dordogne - Prehistoric caves - particularly Grotte de Faunte de Gaume, a new appreciation for early artistic humanity.

The old city of Dubrovnik,
The Centovalli, riding down the mountain on a bicycle,
The Bay of Napoli and Mt. Vesuvius from a hotel balcony in Sorrento,
Lago Maggiore at sunset from a hotel balcony in Gerra Gambarogna,
The Engiadine as seen from Soglio,
The Aegean from a sailboat,
Paris seen from Bateau Mouches,
The Tuscan countryside
Can you tell I'm a view junkie?

Haven't really given this great thought, but off the top of my head not in any particular order:
The Andalusian/Lippizzan horses in Seville/Vienna.
Pont du Gard, Pompeii, Herculaneum, many Roman sites throughout Europe.
Acropolis. Old Rhodes, wandering narrow streets in Mykonos and Santorini.
Many cathedrals: St. Peters, Westminster Abbey, Duomo Milan/Florence, Seville, Notre Dame, St. Vitus and St. Stephens (Vienna & Budapest). View from the bell towers in Seville and Venice, and rooftops in Milan and Budapest.
Museums: Louvre, Dorsay, Accademia, Uffizi, Prado, British (I know I've forgot some).
Castles/Palaces: Prague, Schoenbrun in Vienna, Palacio Royale in Madrid.
River cruises in many cities: London/Thames, Paris/Seine. Seville/Elquivir, Budapest/Danube.
So much to see, so much to do and so little time!

In no particular order;
Dubrovnik and the islands off the Croatian coast.
The Trans-Siberian trip, especially the #6 so-called 'smuggler's train' into Mongolia(it starts in Europe but I'm stretching!)
The Black Madonna in Czestekowa
The fjords of Norway & the Nord Kapp
Rovaniemi, Finland (on a whim; it's Santa's home!)
Lisbon, Portugal
The Blue Mosque in Istanbul
The Hermitage in St. Petersburg (been there twice and have seen only the smallest fraction of all they have)
St. Peter's Basillica
Bucarest, Rumania (all of the larger than life avenues and bldg's of the Ceaucescue regime)
Too many more to mention!!!

I can't believe I forgot to list Ephasus, one of the greatest Roman sites we have visited. Guess I was concerned whether or not my post would go through, since I've had problems the last couple of days.

I've seen a couple of people mention Ephesus. Technically, Ephesus is in Asia...... but I can't blame them. It is one of the best examples of the Roman world.
