To the Top

What does to the top, top, etc. mean?

Is this one of those 'don't ask - don't tell' type of questions, Thomas?

Okay.... The way it works here on the board, postings with the most recent responses end up at the top, which causes older posts to be "pushed down." Thus, when someone is either trying to resurrect a post to which they are still seeking responses, or when an old post provides answers to a recently asked question, people will "reply" to it - which "tops" that post.

Thank you Leslie. I don't understand Rick's response. Sounds hostile.

Thomas: Thanks for bringing up this question! I am rather new in this forum as well and appreciated Lesli's answer. Although I understood that when posting an answer the message goes again to the top.
