My 21 year old just told me her group of friends is doing a quick city break in Bucherest for 5 days, first week of November. They have booked a hotel near publuc transport in the center of the city.
Please help me as I try to help these young travelers!
Itinerary ideas, possibly including a day trip out of Bucharest?
Must see sights (probably not museums, though)?
Pubs, clubs, young type restaurants?
All ideas welcome!

There aren't too many posts about Bucharest on this forum, but you might want to do a search for Bucharest in the Search Box. Perhaps your daughter can write a trip report once she's back to help others looking for this same information. Assume she's already been to a library or two for guidebooks.

Bucuresti is one of the few cities I prefer to stay in my hotel room.

They will not have any problem finding pubs and night clubs in the old town: Strada Lipscani.
