Time for travel from CDG to Gare du Nord? Taking RER train.
Thank you to those who have helped in the past.
I posted part of this question before but it was a bit muddled with other things. So I am now just posting a specific question.
I will be flying into CDG and then taking the RER to Gare du Nord to then transfer to the Eurostar. I land at 9:40am with just carryons and want to take the 13:04 Eurostar. Am I cutting it too short or should that be plenty of time?
I have read that I should take at least 1 hour to get out of the airport and then another 30 minutes to the train station then around 20 minutes to the Eurostar terminal, for a total of 1 hour and 50 minutes. That will put me at 11:30 and a lee way of one hour, as I have to check in for the Eurostar 30 minutes prior to departure. The next train does not leave until 15:ish and I would like to get to London as soon as I can.
Thanks again to all you who offer so many insigtful tips. You are appreciated.

1 hour to get through customs and get luggage is about right on a very slow day. I have often been out with my luggage in 20 minutes. I cant imagine it taking 30 minutes to get to the RER station. I suppose it depends on what terminal you are coming into.
You will need some time to buy your ticket. Try to get it out of the automated machines rather than standing in line. The actual ride to Gare du Nord is between 30 and 40 minutes depending on the train.

Thanks Morgan, Ira & Marcy!
I bought my ticket yesterday and leave on the 16th. I have less than 10 days to go. I even got a bargain at 381 rt from Portland, Oregon, so that makes it even more fun. Have passport will travel
