Tierentyne mustard on a Sunday
Can anyone think of a solution to this problem?
We will be arriving in Brugge on a Sunday for only one day in August. It's a short train ride to Gent but the store is closed on Sunday. We bought some mustard last year but far too little.
Can anyone think of, perhaps a store nearby that might purchase some for me for pickup on a Sunday? Perhaps a cheese or chocolate shop nearby. I would not only buy cheese / chocolate from them but also pay a premium for the service. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Marty

I don't know how driven you are but I have pulled up a list of night shops in Bruges (that is what those little corner shops open at off hours are called in Belgium). You might send your request to one of them and see if they stock your mustard and are open on the Sunday or would obtain some for you. Incidentally some supermarkets (I think Delhaize De Leeuw) are open on Sunday mornings in Brussels, not sure about Bruges because it is so much smaller. Good luck!

Actually I'm with PalenQ now on investigation: this website says to contact them if you are looking for their mustard (which I confess I did not know):

Contact them and see how they can help you, they look quite accommodating.

I called the Delhaize Proxy Uilenspiegel, Tijl Uilenspiegelstraat 18, in Bruges, which is open on Sundays from 8am to 12.30 pm.
They do not stock Tierenteyn mustard.
It seems likely to me that some delicatessen shops might have it.
