Ticket classifications, Paris to Bayeux
We are traveling from Paris to Bayeux (and back) in June. I've been on the sncf website and realize there are about 8 choices in terms of ticket classifications. Is there any benefit to the Discovery Child ticket vs. the regular ticket?

The Discovery (senior, couple (a 2), etc.) discounts usually offer a 25% reduction over the normal ticket price; the Discover child covers parents (or accompanying adults) as well. Any discount that says "Card" or "Carte" means that you have to purchase a card before receiving the discount, which is usually not advantageous to one-time travelers.
Sometimes you can find further discounts in 2nd class by clicking on "Prem" once you get your schedule and fare.

We need 6 tickets, TGV, 1st class. 2 seniors, 2 adults, 2 children. One time only, one way. Saturday, June 21st, Paris-Carssonne. I have wondered around the sncf site and can't really figure it out. No discounts unless you buy a senior or child card? J8 & J30 gone? Prem only? TGV goes to Beziers, then local. I am really having a hard time figuring out how to do this. You all say stay away from Rail Europe. Help!
