Stephanie - thanks for the great report. I am going in January and can't wait. I thought it was funny you mentioned Lush in Covent Garden - it is on my list of places to go shopping! We'll also be there during Harrod's after X-mas sales, so that should be an experience!

Kelly - I would definitely fly United again, the flight was on time, there was no hassle, service was great, and no complaints! The car from the hotel was a mini-van (the hotel said it was an Estate car)was £50, and I enjoyed the convenience of it...

Friend from London - oops, about the Browns! It looks like next October I will be joining you for some more sticky toffee pudding!

Karen - Enjoy your shopping in London! The Lush is definitely a MUST!!!!!!

Stephanie

Jill -

Have you been to the Lush website? I would suggest taking a look before your trip so you get some ideas. Otherwise, you will be very overwhelmed when you get to the store (and the scents, though lovely, can be a bit overpowering all mixed together). If you will be there in December, you might also find some unique holiday things that aren't in the catalog or on the site. We were there in November 2000 and they already had some holiday stuff out then. Personal recommendations include Silky Underwear (dusting powder), Back for Breakfast shower gel (it somehow reminds me of the scent of Pledge, but in a good way), and Butterball bath bomb. Hope you find some things you will enjoy.
