You need to look into what each place has that you would be interested in, and since you are taking trains you need to work on an itinerary based on and spending a whole day travelling whenever you move to a new location. Your mentioned you wanted it to be a relaxed trip. Based on what you have posted for an itinerary this will not be a very relaxed trip. You can shorten your days in some areas, and add these days to other areas.
Barcelona does have some interesting sites, and you could simply fly into Barcelona and spend the night then work your way up to Madrid. They are some interesting sites in Spain you do not have listed (Granada, Seville, Segovia, Toledo) that you can access from Barcelona or Madrid, and can be done as a day trip.
If you are interested in historical sites, you may want to seriously consider adding more time in Athens, as there is a lot to see there.
You can see a fair amount of sites in Paris in about 4 days, and Château de Versailles is beautiful and is closer than most other Châteaus to Paris, so it might work better for you to go there rather than Chateau de Chenonceau.
If you are short on days you could avoid the Easter weekend in Rome, as it will be insanely busy, and hostels/hotels will be expensive and difficult to book. In addition it will save you travel time. You need about 6 days in Rome to see the most important sites, and a few of the smaller ones.
Milan is not worth your time, as one of its biggest attractions is the Duomo, and by then you will probably be tired of churches by then. Venice is definately worth 4-5 days, but you could shorten your time in Florence to 2 or 3 days. Naples is also a nice place to visit, but you could shorten that as well to 2/3 days and do Pompeii, the museum and one or two smaller sites comfortably.
Reconsider visiting London twice unless absolutely necesarry as this just takes up your travel time, and buying a Eurail if it is limiting the days you can travel. If you dont get the Eurail pass it may give you more freedom to take cheap internal flights, and it will inhibit the days you can travel.
