Walk through the Old Town area and see the Cathedral and the next door excavations. Just strolling around this area is quite pleasant. Excellent shopping on Rue du Rhone and the side streets.

You could take a stroll by the lake, take a boat ride, shop... There's a Cathedral with some very interesting ruins under the floor in the old part of the City.

Many would advise that you might want to take the train just an hour away to Montreux or Vevey. 40 minutes will take you to Lausanne. These are smaller towns with more scenic lakeside promenades. In Montreux you can visit Chillon Castle.

Enjoy! It's a beautiful area.

Give an eye to the water jet and Mont Blanc if it is a clear day. Have a beverage at that cafe on the plaza up on the hill in old town.
