They don't sell 22" anymore!

So I have taken your advice and am looking for an expandable 22"; only to find out they now make them all in 19 or 20" because of the airline regulations! Is this too small?

I doubt a 19" suitcase is too small. Please refer to the message entitled "Can you pack a rental car in a 22" suitcase?"

I would find a 19" or 20" too small for a week in cooler seasons when I take more/bulkier clothing. However, a quick check of luggage websites shows plenty of manufacturers offering 22" rolling suitcases -- LLBean, Samsonite, and Travelpro for starters. Keep looking -- if 22" is what you need, you'll find it.

Just came back from my local Goodwill Industries store, and they have quite an assortment of suitcases. Pretty sure they had some 22 inch models.

Likewise on eBay. Quite an assortment of sizes.

But seriously. Not that those aren't serious good sources.

A search on Yahoo for travelpro 22 rollaboard retrieves 192 hits. Surely you can find something there.
I just saw some at Target a few months ago, more than one model, also. I also saw some at Penney's. I have a 20" but I only use it for 2-3 day trips.

Riduculous. Sam's, Costco, Tuesday Morning, Dillard's, Kohl's, and on and on and on.

Of course they still make 22" rolling suitcases!!! I know (among all the others listed above) Travelsmith mail order catalog has 'em.

But because some international carriers now go by weight (in addition to size) you can't bring a heavy 22" on board but have to check it thru.
