I want to do both, return to places I love (Paris, Barcelona, Venice, Rome, Nice) and visit new places (Lyon, Seville, San Sebastian, the Italian Lakes, Sicily, Malta, Corsica, Budapest, Prague, Vienna.)

Been to Europe over 25 times. Still enjoy Bavaria. Always good to get back there.

suze,
This feeling is also important to me.
Does anyone love to feel a part of the neighborhood, or is just seeing the sites good enough for you? It is so relaxing for me to go to somewhere and know I have seen all the big sites and now I can just wander the streets and stop at little hole in the walls for a glass of wine .

I've been to Bermuda twice and would love to go back, but there are so many places I haven't seen yet, that I'd rather go to new places than go back to the dozen or so places I have been in Europe.

But I'm only 34, and plan to have time later in my life to return to my favorite places - Greek Isles, Italy, London.

I love Switzerland, Austria, and Bavarian Germany. I can't get enough of them! Each time I go back, I feel a connection to nature. The cleanliness/safety, great food, and scenery in these countries help make trips there literally trouble-free. I also have been back twice to London and Paris both. Paris is getting filthier, so it is a little down on my list now.

Just gotta be the Berner Oberland - there's nothing like eating a banana split at the top of the world!

#2 would have to be Bryce Canyon, Utah!

Quebec City! Small but so relaxing with great food, friendly people, french language and architecture. Not to forget the favorable exchange rate.
