After a nap of a few hours we went out for a walk. I was surprised to find that I had a bit of an appetite so we decided to get a crepe. I’ve been told by my friend Julien that the most authentic street crepes can be bought from a little hole in the wall stand on Blvd du Montparnasse under a yellow awning, diagonally across from La Rotonde. This is right around the corner from our apartment so we made our way over and bought a nutella crepe, passing it back and forth as we walked home to sleep for the night. Another delicious day awaited us tomorrow!

I work at 34 avenue George V, obviously directly across the street from the Cinq. A whole different universe for me! I have not yet ever set foot in the hotel, even though we are located across from it because so many of the customers need to come and see us. (Hint: my company and the Hôtel George V, as well as the Prince de Galles next door are all owned by people from the same country.)

annhig: A friend of mine who lives in Paris booked my reservations for me by telephone although we called ourselvs once in Paris to confirm.I imagine, though, that if you email them directly you can reserve that way but they will want you to reconfirm the rservation the day before. You don't have to say you want the special lunch menu ahead of time. They will give you numerous menus when you are seated (no prices on the women's menus which annoyed the h-- out of me!) and you can choose the special lunch menu at that time. You do have to specify that you want the club menu at Rostang as it's not obvious on the written menus that this is a choice. It's simply the 75E lunch menu with all beverages included for an extra 20E.
