The Golden Kettle House, Prague

We are travelling from Sydney to attend our sons wedding in Poland in June and want to stay for a couple of nights in Prague before travelling on to Poland.

We found the Golden Kettle House on TripAdvisor Member Update but no comments have been posted. They offer a 3 bedroom apartment just off the city square for an outstanding price.

Queries about the apartment have been directed to a link that takes us back to their website. Because we are dealing with an independent operator and not a large hotel or hotel chain are just a little weary.

Anyone had dealings with the Golden Kettle House in Prague?

Jenny,

We will be watching your post with interest. We are travelling from Brisbane to Prague so are very interested to hear of any reasonably priced accomodation that is near the city square.

Good Luck!

Hi EllaViv, Couldn't find a contact number but someone has posted a phone number so we will ring them. So much easier on the phone rather than via email.
Will let you know how things go and if we do decide to book with them will post a comment.

When are you travelling?

Hi Jenny,

Any luck with contacting the Golden Kettle House or finding other good accomodation in Prague?

We are travelling in December so will be there when it's really chilly - will be taking our 2 x teenage daughters for the first time to Europe! We are also going to Poland (Krakow) so if you have any suggestions for first timers . . . feel free to pass them on!

Hi EllaViv,

Have new information about the Golden Kettle House and am expecting more tonight so will post information tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

Why don't you start a New Topic asking about Krakow and I will join in. How are you travelling to Krakow?

Hi EllaViv,

Tried booking into Arcadia Residence which has rave revues but they were fully booked when we wanted to go. So we have booked into the Golden Kettle House. He is a private individual renting his own property. We were asked to pay a desposit by PayPal with the rest cash (US dollars) on arrival.

It is on the fourth floor and we were assured the apartment and beds were comfortable. There are lots of photos on the site. If you bring up the satellite map you will see how close to the square you are.

The location and price are good. He comes recommended through TripAdvisor and Holiday Lettings so we decided to go with him when we could not secure our other choice.

Will post a comment after our visit in June.

Suggest you check out the websites for both the above and see how you go. All the best.

Thanks iris1745
Snap! I have just finished reading comments about the website you mention and have sat down at the computer to look at it. Thought I would check out if there were any more comments posted about The Golden Kettle House first.
Sounds like a good recommendation.
