OK- thanks YG.

MichelinaB- yes, you need tickets for the Ste Chapelle CE concert. You can buy them at http://www.classictic.com/en/

There may be other ways to get tickets, but this is the way we got ours last year.

Have fun in Paris Denise! I will be waiting for your trip report. We arrive February 28 for 2 weeks. I'll need your trip report to get me through the wait!

Will look forward to following your trip. I've been thinking I'd like to spend Christmas in Paris next year and wondered if I could get my husband on board for the idea. Before I mentioned it to me he brought it up, so we may actually do it in 2015 or 2016.

We sometimes go to Paris the first 2 weeks of December. We like to be home with family for Christmas.

We still see all of the lights, decorations and Christmas markets at greatly reduced prices, both for apartments and airfare.

Judy,

The larger apartments do book very early, for all the families to spend Christmas together,in Paris! That is the alternative.

Yes, all the decorations are up for early December viewing. I have been at all times. Often Thanksgiving and then on to December.

Whenever, it is Paris!

a bientot...

Joan

gracejoan3, we do book a year in advance. We just prefer to enjoy Paris earlier in December and be at home Christmas day. The fact that we can do it so much more economically is a great added bonus!! Have a wonderful holiday in Paris!

I did just secure an apartment for next year with the good exchange rate.

DENISEA, always enjoy your adventures with Chaz in Paris at Christmas. Glad you are returning to the Musee d'Orsay. Will be following your trip report...

OMG...I just got back on Sunday and am in the midst of changing jobs....no time to start a T/R just yet. I had to buy a car today.

I will tell you that we did next to nothing as far as visiting sites but we did do some championship shopping and dining. The best was our food tour with Paris by Mouth in the 6th! I could die for the cheeses!

Holy transitions! We'll definitely cut you some slack then.

Championship shopping and dining - love it. Can't wait to hear about it and happy new year!
