I am so glad you got to see the bunnies at Deyrolle.

I walked past Le Relais de Comptoir one Sunday afternoon and there was a line out the door and down the street. I should have waited to eat there. O Woe is moi.

I really love reading your reports. So happy that you had a good time, despite your foot and black eye!
Thanks for sharing, Mimi.

I'm always amazed at how much time you people can spend eating in Paris! We Parisians would never get any work done if we did that.

kerouac, you live in Paris. You can get that kind of food everyday. We have to gorge ourselves while we can and then go back to the slop served in most US restaurants.

Mimi,
I will add the food comments when I get a minute. Good report and just the way I remember it.

mimi, I wish we were back there having oysters before dinner. (The shells made it back )

cara, you caused me to spend much extra time late at night (very late) in the wonderful deep tub reading just one more page.....and one more and on and on until it was so late (or early) I didn't dare look at the clock!

Mimi, I enjoyed reading about your trip to Paris! In spite of your injuries, it sounds as if you truly enjoyed your trip with good friends.

Gracejoan, are you the same gracejoan who rented the lovely apartment after us in Ville-franche-sur mer a few years ago?

Gracejoan, it is you - I just found a post where you recommended the apartment! I left a plant for you on the terrace - an herb of some sort - and a note in the kitchen cabinet. I loved that place!

I am only moderately jealous (she typed, lying through her teeth). I saw Cigale the Thursday and Friday after her return. Her black eye didn't look too bad at all, but she'd caught a cold/bronchitis by the time I saw her! Despite all the travails, she did enjoy the trip, is glad she went, and who could blame her (I ask once again with only a modicum of jealousy..NOT!)

Mimi--Thanks for the shuttle info--we arrive on a very early flight-6:30--still deciding but it is good to know they inter is super dependable--unfortunately on the pricing, for 2 is not a deal.

Well bookchick, at least we got to celebrate your birthday.
You did not look too closely at me. You are a forgiven person.

as Miki says. it looks like I put purple eye shadow on one lid and forgot the other. My discoloration is gone but the brow bone still painful if touched.

Hi Mimi

Thank you for my Paris fix! The fireplace in the apartment sounds lovely. Glad to hear you all had a great time.

Hi Mimi,

I think you're getting your grace's mixed up! I'm gracie04 (Johanna) and definitely not in Paris at the moment, hence the need for the fix! :^)
