Sunday Times Travel magazine is really nice and so is the European version of Conde Nast's Traveller, but they are very expensive in the US at around $9.00. National Geographic Traveller is not as attractive as those glossy travel magazines, but what I like is when one issue is solely devoted to one topic like Europe or Paris for example.

"For me, it's National Geographic Traveler. It contains solid practical advice, most of which is within my "affordable" range.
Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler sure are beautiful to look at, but most of their offerings are beyond my affordability."

Yeah. What Howard said.

Another vote for Budget Travel. Most of the other travel magazines cover options that are too extravagant for me.

Budget Travel has fun monthly features I like... 20 reader submitted travel tips, True Stories from the road, 40 tour package bargains of the month, etc. Plus interesting stories that I actually read like driving thru India, or a train across Australia.

I like International Travel News--one reason is that it contains hotel and restaurant recommendations from fellow travelers. I also like Budget Travel--there is rarely an issue that doesn't give me at least one good suggestion, even sometimes just a great website.
Those two I read cover to cover. I also get Nat'al Geographic Traveler, sometimes I like it, sometimes not.

My favorite is International Travel News. Nothing fancy,no glossy photos, but info from real seasoned travelers. I wish there was a better way to catalog the information from there. I really wish all the authors of the articles posted here. For out of the way places, like Romania, Poland, etc. it's a great place for info.
