The topic title just about says it all. My photo of Rue Montorgueil is on page 22 of the France 2011 guide. I just came back from Borders where I looked at it and it was a real thrill to see it there.

adrienne, It was one that I had entered into the "Show me your France" contest. It wasn't a winner, but I guess they liked it. It is one that I printed out 11X14 and have hanging in my office. I guess I liked it too.

Basingstoke: Congrats on your photo.
I was just looking through your photos and noticed the plate of macrobiotic food. What restaurant was that? And in what district? Do you remember the name and the street? The photo was taken April 30,2008. I was thinking that it might have been in the 5th, but I'm not sure.
I was macro through most of the 80s and still eat macro a lot. I eat macro meals, probably 90% of the time in Paris, and have eaten regularly at Guen Mai in the 6th, since the 80s. But, I'm always open for different macro/veggie restaurants especially if I'm in a different area of the city during meal times and can't get back over to Guen Mai. Happy Travels!

If it is the photo I think it is, the restaurant is "Les Saveurs d'Anada" 72 Rue du Cardinal Lemoine in the Quartier Mouffetard. I believe that is the 5th. The food is every bit as good as it looks. Dinner for 2 was under 50 Euro. Actually I think it was under 40 or so, but I don't quite remember. Les Saveurs seemed to be a family oriented place. The photo set has a couple of shots of the restaurant and one of the view from our table. They also have an exceptional website - just google the name.

Great photo.
