Tegelberg Luge

I made a mistake with my last question. I wanted to know how safe the above Luge was (not the Gondola). Has anyone ridden on the Tegelberg Luge and can tell me if it is safe for young children and not-so-young grand-parents. Cheers Pawsha

Hi Pawsha,
My wife and I (40's) had a great time riding the Tegelberg luge ride. It depends how young the children are. We did see lots of young kids riding. My wife is handicapped, was very hesitant to ride, but did try it and had a great time. You control the speed of the sled with a handle, very easy to use. You go as fast or slow as you wish. I made sure I got on the sled behind my wife (I knew she would take it slow) to ensure she wasn't holding someone other than myself up.

Paul
