Taxi's in Aix en provence

We are flying into Marseille in March and we plan to take a bus form the airport to Aix en Provence.

We will be staying at Le Manior Hotel. Will taxis be easy to find so that we will be able to get from the bus station to our hotel?

Thank you!

Yes, I did this by myself at night in winter, so I don't think you'll have a problem. I got a taxi about 2 minutes after getting off the bus. And it turnerd out my hotel was a 4 minute walk (maximum) from the bus stop. My driver was a hoot. She couldn't figure out why on earth I would take a taxi to go 2 blocks. I still have her card somewhere if you're truly worried about this.

Thinking about that micro-ride brings a smile to my face. Enjoy Aix. It's lovely.

Laurie, this is way waayyy more information than you need, but here is the number for Taxis Radio Aixois:
04 42 27 71 11.

I got the impression that the taxis know when the bus from the airport arrives and cruise by the stop looking for a fare around that time. Granted, I was only in Aix once, but it seemed like a taxi-normal city to me. Have fun.

Thanks for your reply,Leely.
When we arrive in Aix, we will be a little jet lagged and I am mainly worried that we will not be able to find the Le Manoir Hotel. Some people have said that it is difficult to find, so we thought if we could take a taxi, it would help us find our way around town.

Thanks again for your help! Laurie

Look up the route on one of the mapping programs, print it and take it with you. Le Manoir is not far from the bus station, but it's more than a four-minute walk. Maybe 10 minutes.

Thanks Mimar,
I will try to get a map just in case we cannot find a taxi.
