Taxi on Sunday

Help. I copied Walter's info about trains/FCO/taxis, etc. (thank you). However am arriving Termini on Sunday; does this change where to catch a cab?

Have also decided to do romeshuttlelimosine for hotel to airport as it is on a national holiday; hopefully they will respond to email.

Thank you all!

I believe that in all Europe taxis use a higher fare on Sundays.

Hi E,

If you are taking a shuttle to the airport, why not from the airport?

I am arriving by train at Termini from Venice; the station is only 1.8 miles from the hotel. Despite Sunday rates and perhaps less availability I suspect a taxi for this distance is WAY cheaper than the limo transfer, but that is why I'm checking in with all the experienced Fodorites.

I didn't read carefully.

I highly recommend Rome Shuttle Limosine for airport shuttle.

The cabs inside Rome were fine. We used them twice, both at night, Christmas Eve and Christmas, and the fares were fine (each ride was about 8 euros), from one side of Rome central to the other.
