Taxi from Orly to Paris

We are flying into Paris Orly Airport from Pisa, arriving at 9pm. The plan is to take a taxi to our Hotel du Champ de Mars in the 7th, There will be 4 of us (with 5 bags). Will there be a taxi at the airport that can accomodate all of us and our bags or do we need to make reservations ahead of time?

Thank you !

There will be an official taxi stand with Taxis de Paris. No need to make reservations. You will be put in a taxi large enough to accommodate your group and your baggage.

Even easier and most likely cheaper, book with Shuttle-Inter . They meet you as you exit baggage claim area with a sign with your name, help with bags and take you to your door. The rate Orly/Paris for 4 people is 70 Euro. The taxi on a good day might even be a bit more and if you are held up in traffic the meter keeps climbing.

Orly isn't that far from Paris (closer than CDG), it is definitely not likely that 70 euro would be cheaper than a taxi. And it isn't easier, to get a taxi, you just walk out to the taxi queue, you don't have to make reservations/confirm, look for someone, etc.

I agree it would be almost impossible to pay 70 euro for a taxi from Orly. I've never even paid that from CDG, which is a lot farther away, and I've been in some doozies of traffic jams. A taxi is easier AND cheaper.

The Air France bus would take you to Invalides in the 7th.

Thanks again for all of the comments. If I am reading the cost of the Air France shuttle correctly, it would be about the same price for 4 of us to share a cab as it would be to take the shuttle.

The last time we did this was a couple of years ago. My trip report says a cab cost €30, with tip, for the three of us from Orly to our apartment in the 7th. We travel light, so there were no extra bags, and it was around 7:00 in the evening, so there was little traffic. Even so, I doubt a larger cab, plus extra baggage charges would cost much more than that.
