This is another one of those 1 time posters spreading the same message on many different travel sites. Fodors, Lonely Planet, TA, etc.
Over the top reaction by an emotional poster. It's too bad it's written that way as a calm warning about taxis in Vilnius would have been good travel advice for others to heed.

The OP is not a first time (or one time) poster on this board. But he is over the top about a stupid taxi ride.
This thread at least gives the opportunity for some amusing responses! And makes a break from those duh...what do I wear threads.

I had my pocket picked in Istanbul on the tram. This is after I put my wallet in my front pocket in the hotel room"

I took the precaution of moving my wallet from my back pocket to front pocket to make it harder for a pickpocket. A standard practice. Ironically that is the only time I have been pickpocketed while traveling and being a life long NY'er. See, it is ironic.
