Taormina Hotels

Tell me about your favourite hotel in Taormina. Have you stayed at Villa Fabbiano?
San Domenico and Timeo are too expensive. Thank you.

We have stayed at Hotel Villa Belvedere. The room was simple but nice with a balcony and stunning views of the coast. It also has a lovely pool with views. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Have you looked at the location of the Villa Fabbiano on their Web site? Given your expressed preference for being in the center of things, the Villa Fabbiano does not seem to recommend itself; it looks as if it's halfway between "beautiful downtown Taormina" and Giardini Naxos on the sea.

In Taormina, I suggest you look at either the Villa Belvedere or Villa Schuler. I have stayed in the former, and will be staying at the latter in late April. It is a Karen Brown hotel as well with a great location.

The Villa Schuler website does not advertise a swimming pool. Does it have one? We must a swimming pool in Taormina, as we will not have one in Palermo.
