Received my pin on monday. It had poked <BR>a hole in the envelope, but post office <BR>had taped over it - so arrrived just fine.

Its just idle curiosity on my part, but what is so important about getting a Fodors pin? Also, what is the purpose of this thread? Is it to embarass Fodors? For a company that provides travelers a free forum to exchange travel information, don't some of you think its kind of in bad taste to be harping on whether you got your free pin or not? I really do not understand the purpose of this thread or the apparent importance that some of you attach to getting a Fodors pin. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Got my envelope the other day. There were about 490 pins stuck to it.

After a re-search of three months of unopened mail, it would appear that I did in fact receive the pin inside the envelope.
