Take your own magazines to Greece this summer . . .
The agency that distributes foreign newspapers & magazines in Greece is shuttered & its replacement won't start until the fall.

Ian, frankly that's a non-issue. If you bring your tablet or netbook with you to Greece you can go online at just about any cafe, because most have wifi for their customers. Maybe that's why the distributor has discontinued the service.
Back in the days before internet some people would buy British papers, but they were always a couple of days late and about three times the price they sell for in the UK. As I wrote, I was never tempted, and that wasn't a "snarky comment".
Here are a few newspapers I read online:

http://www.theguardian.com/uk
http://www.nytimes.com
There are many others, including most of the UK tabloids. If you want to read The Times or Sunday Times online you will need a subscription.
