Switzerland Itinerary!

If it's any consolation, the queues for ticket purchases are generally short; the notable exception might be the Jungfrau. Paying an extra $218 for a pass (for two of you) seems a bit steep for convenience.
However....do figure in the cost of the Jungfrau if you plan to take it - the cost from Grindelwald to the Jungfrau and return is about 177 CHF without a pass, with slight variances for routing (Lauterbrunnen/Wengen vs Grindelwald).

We go through this very thing on every single trip we make to Switzerland, because each trip is different. We've just crunched the numbers for our upcoming December trip and have decided the Swiss Travel Pass is the way to go - it will cost 11 CHF per person more than point-to-point tickets, but it will also give us the flexibility to add excursions as we go.
